Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on the preliminary results of the survey of trade and catering enterprises, the turnover of retail trade, wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles enterprises (VAT excluded) in July 2011 amounted to LTL 2636.4 million (in 2010, LTL 2206.6 million) and, against June, decreased by 4.6 per cent at constant prices (in July 2010, against June, the turnover had increased by 2.4 per cent).
Over a month (in July 2011, against June), the retail trade turnover, except for trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles, grew by 3.9 per cent at constant prices. The turnover of enterprises trading in food products grew by 5.5 per cent, that of enterprises trading in non-food products (motor vehicles excluded) – by 5 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of enterprises trading in automotive fuel in July 2011, against June, dropped by 1.3 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of enterprises engaged in the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles in July 2011, against June, dropped by 21.6 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of catering and beverage service enterprises (VAT excluded) in July 2011 amounted to LTL 84.3 million (in 2010, LTL 68.7 million) and, against June, increased by 9.5 per cent at constant prices (in July 2010, against June, the turnover had increased by 6.5 per cent).
The turnover of enterprises engaged in retail trade, wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (VAT excluded) in July 2011, against July 2010, grew by 16.9 per cent at constant prices (in July 2010, against the same period in 2009, the turnover had dropped by 6.3 per cent).
Over a year (in July 2011, against the same period in 2010), the turnover of retail trade enterprises, except for those trading in motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 7.2 per cent at constant prices. The turnover of enterprises trading in food products grew by 0.6 per cent, that of enterprises trading in non-food products (motor vehicles excluded) – by 12.3 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of enterprises trading in automotive fuel in July 2011, against the same period in 2010, increased by 12.4 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of enterprises engaged in the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles in July 2011, against the same period in 2010, rose by 53.8 per cent at constant prices.
The turnover of catering and beverage service enterprises (VAT excluded) in July 2011, against the same period in 2010, grew by 20.2 per cent at constant prices (in July 2010, against the same period in 2009, the turnover had dropped by 18.9 per cent).
The turnover of enterprises engaged in retail trade, except for those trading in motor vehicles and motorcycles, in July 2011, against June, seasonally adjusted, decreased by 0.1 per cent, while against July 2010, working day adjusted, it grew by 7.8 per cent.
