Dear friends,
we all noticed more and more autumnal sky, biting days, as they are getting shorter and shorter. After a month we again will be in a holidays’ marathon. It is said, prepare the skis in summer. So we are inviting all of you to help us to actualize the charity event in Vilnius University Oncology institute.

In many years of friendship with Vilnius University Oncology Institute (http://www.vuoi.lt/index.php?520838973) we understood, that any sincere attention to ill person gives him a lot of patience, strength and belief. It looks that, sometimes it is enough to give him just a simple moral support by helping him to understand, that in this hard Gods sent life test he is not alone. Perception, that completely unknown people prepared a pleasant surprise, give them unforgettable, warm feelings.
In the Christmas and New Years Eve many of us live with the festive moods, but not all of us think about the people, who will celebrate these holidays in hospital, knowing, that they are fighting with the very treacherous oncological disease. Some of them even don’t have relatives, who can visit them or bring them home at least on these holidays. For some of them these are the last holidays, for others may be this is a time for a new hope…

More than a hundred of patients will celebrate this Christmas and New Year in a wards of the Vilnius Univesrity Oncology hospital. These people against their wish will sink in their thoughts, which very rarely are optimistic. So we are inviting all people, who are not indifferent to these people to contribute to the preparation of visiting these people and bringing them at least small presents to brighten their day. Any donation which you give with a love will become invaluable present in the memory of these patients.

Donations in the form af various small gifts will be delivered with the participations of a few famous Lithuanian people.
