Germany’s Merkel to visit Lithuania

Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel should pay an official visit to Lithuania on 6 September the Lithuanian Prime Minister’s spokesperson said to Lithuanian media.
‘Merkel’s visit is planned for 6 September German officials are expected at the government today (on 23 August) to coordinate details of the visit, ‘Jarda Paukstiene told BNS, Ziniu radijas reported. Angela Merkel’s visit to Lithuanian was cancelled in June, where she was scheduled to the Council of the Baltic Sea States summit. However, the visit was cancelled due to resignation of Germany’s President.
