According to Polish daily „Gazeta Wyborcza“ Ukraine opens it’s archives related to similar events as Katyn massacre, where more than 21 thousand Polish officers were killed in 1940.
Former secret sources provide more clarity on various crimes committed by Soviet army. Earlier available information disclosured initial facts about Katyn, Starobelsk (Ukraine) and Ostachkov (Russia) atrocities. New facts disclosured from Ukraine archives prove, that these were not the only examples. Similar scenario was implemented in Petichatki (Ukraine, near Charkov), where later in 70-ies KGB chief Jurij Andropov ordered to erase any possible trails.
