Fuel prices reach record high

Fuel prices continued to rise in Vilnius’s gas stations last week, 15 min.lt reports.

Last Friday saw Lukoil and it’s rival Statoil, the largest suppliers of gas and fuel in Lithuania, selling 95 octane fuel at 5.15 and 5.16 Litas per litre- two cents more than just one week ago. Meanwhile, Orlen gasoline prices remained unchanged at 5.13 Litas per litre.

The cost of diesel fuel at all gas stations has not changed throughout the week, with Lukoil and Orlen charging 4.79 Litas for a litre of diesel, and Statoil 4.8 Litas.

The price of LPG at all gas stations rose by four cents over the last week, from 2.39 to 2.43 Litas per litre.
