Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Rasa Jukneviciene is convinced that the Lithuanian air space was not violated when Swedish piloted light aircraft crossed the Lithuanian – Belarusian border in a “teddy bear stunt” on July 4. ”Lithuania’s air space was not violated. There are various small private planes in Lithuania constantly and they also were that day (on July 4), but no violations were determined. If Lithuania will be officially asked for a help with the investigation then the authorities will discuss such possibility under existing laws,” said Jukneviciene in an interview to radio Ziniu Radijas, 9 August, ELTA reported.
Belarusian press informs that Belarus addressed Lithuania and Sweden asking to provide legal assistance in the investigation of violation of the Belorussian border by the airplane on July 4.

I do agree with Michael, if this had been done in the US, or anywhere else for that matter it would be huge. The fact of the matter is their airspace was breached, and its certainly not a good thing. This opens their eyes to what could happen, and obviously both countries need to step up their border security, and defences, and god forbid like Mike said some idiot or terrorist gets any ideas from this incident, because now they know that both countries borders are weak, that’s why both countries need to take this seriously.
Here is another example of how incidents such as this, and the Nazi salute parody at the Olympics, are hijacked by the orchestrated conventional media to score political points.
The facts are straightforward. The airspace and sovereign integrity of Belarus were violated, so it appears, by an aircraft that entered their country from a NATO alliance member.
However they dress it up this is foolhardy and unacceptable, whichever country falls victim. Had Belarus world peace activists done likewise to Sweden in protest at their death-dealing 8th position in arms manufacture and export I think the hypocrisy and double standards would be laid bare.
For goodness sake, are readers aware of the paranoiac hoops one needs to jump through to get into the U.S. these days; all in the name of ‘homeland security.’ World War 111 would be ignited had Cuba done likewise to the coasts of the U.S.
Instead of fudging and saying she will look into the rights or wrongs of possible Lithuanian collusion Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Rasa Jukneviciene should instigate an enquiry. It will be a different ball game if some halfwits in the future drop something more serious into the water sources of a neighbouring country.
