A newly established Icelandic company WOW air opens a new air route between Kaunas and Reykjavik starting from this June, lrytas.lt reported on 16 February.

Iceland and Lithuania have excellent international relationships, – said Mr Baldur Oddur Baldursson, who is the SEO of WOW air, – we are very happy to announce about this new destination today, on 16th February, the Independence Day of the Republic of Lithuania. The timetable was made in cooperation with the Lithuanians living in Iceland. Iceland is becoming a more and more popular travelling destination. We are happy to offer an opportunity to visit our country.“
WOW air will operate Airbus A320 planes, which will be rented from the Avion Express company in Lithuania. There is more leg room in these planes, as opposed to other low price flight companies’ planes.
